ARBITRATION FEE SCHEDULE
Fees: An hourly rate of $400.00 ($200.00 per party) applies to all two-party non-family arbitrations. This rate includes time spent by the arbitrator at the arbitration session, and work done by the arbitrator before, after, or between sessions, including telephone conferences, e-mails, and written correspondence. Legal assistant’s time will be billed at $125.00 per hour to be paid equally by all parties.
Multi-Party Discounted Rates: For three parties, all time spent by the arbitrator is billed at an hourly rate of $175.00 per party. For four parties, all time spent by the arbitrator is billed at an hourly rate of $150.00 per party. If there are five or more parties, a reduced rate can be negotiated.
Scheduling and Prepayments: Parties are required to book arbitrations with SEMA for a minimum of two (2) hours for the initial session. SEMA requests prepayment of $2,000.00 due five (5) business days before the initial session. All subsequent sessions and any work done by the arbitrator after or between sessions will be billed separately to counsel, unless otherwise instructed, at the appropriate hourly rate.
Payment policy: Checks should be made payable to:
SEMA (Federal ID# 27-0931822) and are due upon receipt of invoice.
Counsel and Parties are jointly responsible for the payment of fees.
