Experience:

Judge Prestley (Ret.) is a former Superior Court Judge of the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch where she served as a presiding Judge in the Family Court. Judge Prestley's expertise covers all aspects of family matters including but not limited to divorce, post-judgment disputes, custody issues, blended family and parenting conflicts and other related family matters. She has received extensive mediation training and since her retirement in 2019, has served as a mediator for law offices in Connecticut and Massachusetts, mediation organizations and has established her own private practice as well.

Prior to becoming a Judge and mediator, Judge Prestley worked as an Assistant Attorney General representing the State of Connecticut’s Department of Education, Department of Children and Families, and the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. She also served as an adjunct professor at the College and Law School levels.
